Snow walk!

Hope you all had a good Christmas.

I don't know about you but where I lived it has finally snowed, so I took advantage of it and went for a walk with my new camera to get some pictures. I live in the country side where there are lots of fields about which meant I could take some really nice pictures. So here are some of the shots I got.

                                        Thankyou

Birmingham Christmas market (German market)!

A couple of weeks ago to Birmingham to go t the German market. We had heard it was really good and worth seeing and so we went to see for ourselves.
They had lots of stalls there but a lot of the stuff were very expensive but you could tell a lot of effort had gone into everything, the think that made it the best were all the Christmas light which was very festive. We did go at night time just for the lights and it was very very cold and there were a few drunks at the beginning but once you got to the main part you were fine.

This is my favorite picture I am not sure why but it looks very pretty, it is actually the top of one of the market huts.

These are some of the types of things they sold at the market, they also sold lots of sweets. hot dogs and crepes and I had a crepe with nutella in it and oh my days it was amazing.

This is just one of the Market huts, they were all very festive.

Hope you all enjoyed this post and I                                                                       will see you soon bye.

Autumn lipstick!

Today I have decided to do something a bit different. There has been one lipstick I have been wearing lots this autumn and so I decided to share it with you.

To create this look I used the baby lips peach kiss to keep my lips moisturized (I get really dry lips) and then the lipstick I used is the No7 in the shade Plum Beautiful. I am one of those people who don't really like a big bold or dark lipstick, which is why I chose this one. It is fairly dark but not overly dark. It is the perfect Autumn colour. The baby lips is a peachy orange colour until you actually put it on which then just looks a but glittery on your lips but it is very moisturizing.

I just think this colour looks great for this time of year.

Thankyou for reading :)

Victoria Sponge!

I decided to do something a bit different today. I thought you might like a baking post and I know most of you know how to make a Victoria sponge but whenever I make one everyone seems to love it so much, so I thought I would share it with you.

Ingredients:
3 large eggs
175g (6oz) of softened butter
175g (6oz) of caster sugar
175g (6oz) of self-raising flour
1 and a half teaspoons of baking powder
2x18cm (7 in) greased and lined sandwich tins

Before you start you need to pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius/gas mark 4.

Firstly you need to measure all your ingredients and add them all into the bowl together (Tip: I would put the dry ingredients in first)

Next all you need to do is whisk all the ingredients together with an electric whisk until it looks something like this.

Then I equally spread the mixture between the two tins.

Pop them into the oven for about 25 minutes until golden brown and bouncy, they should probably look something like this.

Once you have allowed them to cool you can add some jam or anything you would like into the middle, mine looks like this.

I did then cut it up and have it with a cup of tea.

Hope you enjoyed this different blog post and I will see you soon.
Bye
